Acting I - Imagination Travelers Children Children embark on weekly journeys to exciting imaginary destinations through children's literature. Fueled by the child's own imagination - elements of acting and theatre are introduced with an emphasis on language, creativity, focus, listening, character and story development. Crafts such as puppets, masks, sets, and costumes add to the fun.

Acting II - Imaginative Actors Students learn basic acting skills and techniques while developing the ability and confidence to interact effectively in a group. Imagination is key as students continue to invent characters and storylines while being introduced to the written script and characters. Focus, concentration, memorization and listening skills complete a solid acting foundation in a creatively charged environment.

Creative Actors M 1-1:45
Creative Kids Actors will provide workshop style performing opportunities for our youngest performers while introducing skills in character and scene development. Students will build and strengthen skills key to successful acting such as observation, memorization, listening, focus and imagination in a creative and stimulating environment. Performances will include scene work from children's literature as well as our students' original works. Puppetry along with set and prop design will add to the fun.

Throughout the year, members will perform in musical productions, musical revues, community performances, and recording sessions. Community service, mentoring, and outreach is at the heart of this program providing each accomplished Company member the opportunity to share their gifts in a truly meaningful way.
