GROWING GIFTS THROUGH THE ARTS
About Us
BYPC was founded in 1996 to provide quality performing arts instruction and experience for youths in Bedford and surrounding communities. With programs for students from birth to adult BYPC was built in the tradition of Boston Conservatory and Julliard offering comprehensive programs in music, dance, and theatre for over 1400 students in Southern New Hampshire and beyond.

Performing arts programs include:
- Music
- Dance
- Theatre
- Creative Kids Preschool

BYPC offers professional quality performing arts opportunities for students studying dance, music, and theatre. Performing opportunities include recitals, musical theatre productions, cabarets, workshops, community performances, as well as performances on location at such venues at Walt Disney World, The Macy’s Day Thanksgiving Parade, Cruise Ships, and music festivals. Performing opportunities are provided through both class and lesson instruction as well as through open auditions for our musical theatre productions.
In 2003, BYPC opened Creative Kids Preschool, an arts integrated licensed preschool with a multi-aged program for children 3 – 6 years old and a two year old preschool readiness program. Children learn naturally with an individualized curriculum respecting each child’s distinctive learning style and responding to their individual development needs in an environment rich with music, dance, and theatre. More about The Creative Kids Preschool.
In 2005 the Circle of Giving Theatre premiered completing the mission of BYPC by allowing our riches of gifts to be shared with low income families and special needs children through our innovative outreach and internship program. BYPC partners with Easter Seals, Manchester Child Health Services, Manchester School District’s 21st Century Community Learning Centers, Girls Inc among others, to provide year programs and classes reaching hundreds of children each year who would not otherwise receive arts education. The Circle of Giving Outreach Programs are funded through private donors, grants, foundation, corporate sponsors, and BYPC inkind donations. BYPC is a 501c3 non-profit organization managed by a board of directors. Generous financial and volunteer support from our community partners - local businesses, BYPC families, civic organizations, and charitable foundations - enable us to continue developing programs that best serve the needs of an ever growing student body.
Recently, BYPC directors enjoyed numerous opportunities to learn from some of the country's foremost performing artists and arts educators, including the Dean of the Boston Conservatory and the New York City cast and director of "A Chorus Line." All graciously shared with us their definition of excellence in dancers: solid technique, versatility of background, discipline, presence, and musicality.
